Day: 04 FLY FROM KATHMANDU OR CHINA TO LHASA FLIGHT We can arrange your arrival in Lhasa from anywhere. You can either join the trip from Kathmandu and fly to Lhasa or arrive Lhasa from Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Xian or any nearby hub. You will be met at Gonggar Airport by your Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities, you will be driven to Lhasa (3650 meters). It takes around an hour to reach the old city. After checking in at your hotel, you are advised to take rest and take it easy. Drink plenty of fluids and let your body get used to Lhasa’s high altitude. Day:05 SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA - Potala Palace, Johkang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections of Potala Palace are the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet.Then after lunch, tourists head to Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Outside, you can see pilgrims making prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and explore the old market. Distance covered: 0km Altitude: 3650m. Day: 06 SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA -Drepung and Sera Monastery. in the morning , you will be free either to explore the remaining attractions or prepare for the next day's biking. In the Afternoon, Tourists will by mountain bike visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The hot attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon. In addition, you can tour the Tibetan religious scripture printing house; inside the monastery, you can see three sand Mandalas and colorful Rock Painting of Buddha. Day:07 START THE CYCLING TOUR – FOOT OF KHAMPA LA / 6-7 hrs Mountain biking adventure begins from Lhasa. Cycling past history-laden city of Lhasa, you will transverse through barley fields, traditional Tibetan villages and undulating uphill slopes. Few kilometers ahead, a bridge appears across the river leading to the airport. Chinese soldiers can be seen stationed at the mid-point of the bridge. Turning away from the route to the airport, you have to skirt along another direction following rarely-visited sandy path to Khampa La. The trail meanders through a village of mud-walled houses and pastoral farmlands. You may attempt to interact with local villagers with the assistance from your Tibetan guide. This gives you an opportunity to glimpse into the lives of local villagers. Further ahead, the trail branches into a valley away from Tsangpo and then ascends. You will approach on a rocky territory encompassing an area of width 30 meters and height 100 meters. After cycling for about 6-7 hours, you will eventually arrive at the foot of Khampa La (pass). Day:08 CYCLING – KHAMPA LA (4794M) – YAMDROK LAKE TSO / 6-7 hrs Cycling a tough climb across the first of six high passes of the trip. If you find it too tough peddling up 4794m high pass you can always get on the support Jeep. Once you are on the top of the pass you have a glittering views of Yamdrok tso (lake) and stunning summit of Nyichen Kangsa (7252m). A descent to deep turquoise Yamdrok Tso Lake amidst its exquisite mesmerizing views further accentuates the biking thrill. Nomadic herders and grazing yaks make interesting picture-perfect view en route. After lunch, you will ride along the shore of the lake on sandy roads for about 40km. The trail further continues along ridges in the valley wall with breath-taking views of towering snow-capped peaks as the backdrop. Sooner sheep pastures come into sight. Resting your cycling journey for the day. Distance covered: 70km. Altitude: 4350m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:09 CYCLING – NAGARTSE – KARO LA(5050m) – FOOT OF SIMI LA / 6-7 hrs Cycling away from Nagartse, the trail progresses towards a valley and to the top of Karo La the first 5050m pass of your trip (you have an option to getting on the support vehicle). Crossing Karo La you descend to the foot of Simi La at an elevation of 4330m through several interesting Tibetan villages. Basking in the grandeur of surrounding natural exoticism, you will overnight at a superb locale. Distance covered: 56km. Altitude: 4330m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:10 CYCLING – SIMI LA(4375M) – GYANTSE / 5 hrs Today it is a fairly easy and short ride to the top of Simi La at 4375m and then mostly downhill ride into a wide sandy valley towards Gyantse. The trail crisscrosses barley field along the flowing river. Here, you will spot several religious sites. You can bask in the sheer pleasure of visiting Pelkor Chode Monastery, Pelkor Chode Monastery has ancient murals, Gyantse Kumbum is one of the major attractions of cultural interest in Gyantse. You will spend the night at hotel. Distance covered: 50km. Altitude: 3950m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Gyantse Hotel (Twin Sharing) * * * *

Day:11 CYCLING – SHIGATSE / 3 hrs Cycling following Nyi Chu River to Shigatse, the second largest city of Tibet. En route, you will encounter several trucks, cabs and pedestrians hurrying along the busy streets of Shigatse. There are internet cyber café, many well-resourced shop, restaurants etc. Tashilhunpo monastery, being one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet, is a major attraction of Shigatse. Day:12 CYCLING – GYACHUNG – FOOT OF TSO LA / 7-8 hrs today’s through several small Tibetan villages. Following the Friendship Highway and through several small Tibetan villages. We will cycle past the isolated Gyachung Monastery and foot of Tso La. Distance covered: 98km. Altitude: 4200m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day :13 CYCLING – TSO LA(4500m,) – AFTER LHATSE / 6-7 hrs A fairly easy eight kilometers ride brings you to the top of the Tso La from where you will have a clear view of the main Himalayan range. A brief stoppage at the top of the pass follows a thrilling downhill ride to the small town of Lhatse. After lunch we head towards Lhatse (3860m). Just before this town, there is a hot spring. Distance covered: 70km. Altitude: 4360m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:14 CYCLING – GYATSO LA(5220m,) – SHEGAR / 7-8 hrs The Gyamtso La at 5220 meter located approximately 15 kilometers from the campsite, is the highest pass of this biking adventure. The trail to the top of the pass passes through steep and rough slope. From the pass it is steep downhill ride amidst stunning views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse & Cho Oyu. Riding past small Tibetan settlements, nomadic herdsmen make your journey even more eventful. After arriving at a small Tibetan Town of Shegar. After peddling a few kilometers you reach your camping. Distance covered: 72km. Altitude: 4300m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day: 15 CYCLING – PANG LA(5150m,) – CHOESANG / 6-7 hrs Today you will detour away from the main road to Everest Base Camp. The biggest hurdle of today’s ride is Pang La at 5150 meter. Approximately 2-3 hrs peddling along the dirt road into the north base camp of Everest brings you to the top of Pang La. The road zigzags across the back wall of the valley overlooking stunning view of the pass. The view from the top of the pass is breathtaking with the whole Himalaya range gleaming right before you. The tough climb to the pass follows an excellent downhill ride to small Tibetan settlement where you camp for the night. Distance covered: 59km. Altitude: 4450m. Day:16 CYCLING – RONGBUK(5050m,) / 6-7 hrs The along the river for first few kilometers is fairly easy as you head toward Rongbuk valley. This ride gets quite pleasurable as your eyes savor the breath-taking view of glaciated valley. Yak-skin tents and grazing yaks can be viewed on the other side of the valley. Within few hours along Rongbuk Glacier, North Face of Everest becomes visible flaunting its unparalleled beauty. Rongbuk Monastery lies ahead 8 kilometers below Everest Base Camp, at an elevation of 5050m, at the foot of the Rongbuk Glacier. Distance covered: 25km. Altitude: 5050m. Day:17 EXPLORE EVEREST NORTH BC (5200m,) After taking a well-deserved rest, you can indulge in the exoticism of exploring mystiques of Rongbuk glaciers. It is an 8 km each way walk along dirt road to the base of Mt. Everest. You ascend to the moraine and shortly encounter a nunnery ruined during the Cultural Revolution. A small hermitage is nestled in the vicinity. A few hours of ascent eventually brings you to the Everest Northern Base Camp. No matter how much difficulties and challenges you may face along the trail, once you see the mighty Mount Everest your tiredness instantly elopes and you feel so much blessed as you savor this blissful sight. After photographic moments and exploration, you retreat back to your camp. Distance covered: 8km. Altitude: 5200m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:18 CYCLING – OLD TINGRI / 6-7 hrs Leaving Rongbuk, we head back down the bumpy road then take a "short-cut" into the mountains. Another bumpy trail takes us over a canyon and down into Tingri (4350m). After coming close to Tingri, if you look back you can catch a stunning sight of majestic Everest and Cho Oyu. Distance covered: 70km. Altitude: 4350m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp Day:19 CYCLING – AFTER MENBU XIANG / 6-7 hrs Cycling away from Lhatse to after the Menbu, offers unbeatable pleasures and adventures. Starting with a little uphill climb you make your way along the edge of the valley following a river and at some point you will see the river branching into a lake sheltering a variety of Himalayan ducks. Meandering past the valley floor of grazing yaks, mud bricks, small traditional villages and ruined monasteries, the trail narrows to a gorge making you ride into the headwind for another five kilometers. Views of Ch oyu ,an excellent campsite at the green grass and crystal clear mountain rivulet. Distance covered: 75km. Altitude: 4400m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day :20 CYCLING – PAIKU TSO – BEFORE KONGTANG LHAMO PASS / 6-7 hrs After breakfast, we will then start our ride to the Paiku-Tso lake at 4,591 meters (15,062 ft) elevation on the Tibetan Plateau, View of Shishapangma mountain after Lunch few kilometers you reach your camping. Distance covered: 85km. Altitude: 4400m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:21 CYCLING – KONGTANG LHAMO PASS(5236m) –NEAR KYIRUNG COUNTY/ 6-7 hrs After breakfast we begin our journey towards Near Kyirong county. On the way we cross the beautiful the vast open Tibetan plains. The journey offers stunning Himalayan views, Kongtang Lhamo pass 5236 meter Distance covered: 85km. Altitude: 4200m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Camp

Day:22 CYCLING – KYIRUNG COUNTY – KYIRONG THIL / 4 hrs After breakfast we begin our journey towards Kyirong thil. On the way we cross the beautiful waterfall and Forrest. Distance covered: 70km. Altitude: 2800m. Meals Included : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner One Supporting Truck and One Jeep Riwu banba Hotel * * * (Best Hotel) (Twin sharing)

Day:23 KYIRUNG THIL-RASUWA/ 1 hrs Today we Cycling down to the friendship bridge and our guide will help you to clear the China Customs, from there our Tibetan staffs are not allow stepping further and time to say your farewells. Before your departure, we will appreciate if you can spend a short time to evaluate our services either by filling the feedback form. When you crossed the bridge you will get into Nepal Meet Nepali guide and drive to Kathmandu 175k.m Distance covered: 24kms,cycling 175kms Drive by 4wd jep Altitude: 1800m.
