Lobuche East 6119m climbing

At khumbu region  an elevation of 6,119m Lobuche East Peak is located This peak is not far from the Mt. Everest but only is at few kms distance. Lobuche has 2 main peaks:Lobuche East at 6,119m and Lobuche West at 6,145m. Lobuche East climbing is a bit more challenging one comparing with other peak in this area and also requires trekking peak permit. Whereas, West also requires peak climbing permit. Though they are connected by a continuous ridge there is sharp gap that can be seen and the distance between the peaks. To all amateur trekkers Lobuche East trekking peak is new and challenging climbing routes. Whereas scaling to southern base camp at an elevation of 5500m covers the wow views of Ama Dablam, Tawache and many more. The extremes experience of Lobuche commences from Lukla after short yet beautiful flight. The outing take after the same trails as Everest base camp trekking course up to Periche and after that trek to Dughla till mount Everest base camp for good acclimatization and same route come back to Lobuche then Lobuche peak base camp. This trek offers you with the astonishing mountain view and high snowcapped mountain like Ama Dablam, Pumori, and Everest and from summit we will have exemplary Himalayan scene of numerous noteworthy Himalayan tops of Khumbu area, major Himalayan ice sheets and elevated pools of Sagarmatha national park. It has two distinct summits Lobuche east and Lobuche west. Lobuche east climb is more testing than other crest here. Lobuche east requires trekking crest license while Lobuche west requires a campaign grant.Climbing course at the base camp and detail instruction will be given by experienced and expertise mountaineers so that you have necessary skills and the most important, confidence to be on the top. The basic need to climb Lobuche peak climbing is you should be mentally and physically free from your daily routine. All the needy food stuffs are prepared by our camp cook. Like this we take a good care of your health and needs. Climbing Lobuche is a courageous and exciting trek that will take you the high snowy places of everest base camp trek  and getting to know the Sherpa people. This Trip can be done any time of the year but if you want the full enjoyment and have a real trek you should come at March-May and September-November

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport where you will be welcomed by Adventure 14 Peaks representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free until evening when you'll enjoy a welcome drinks with your guide and introduce each other. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & permits preparation Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning to begin your city tour of Kathmandu. You will visit the Boudhanath temple, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, Pashupatinath, a Hindu pilgrimage site, and possibly view cremation ceremonies along the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue on to Patan Durbar Square to take in ancient Nepalese architecture and end your tour with a lunch. After that you will visit ancient Nepalese art in the Patan museum. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (4 hrs) A very early morning wake up and transfer to the domestic airport to board our flight to Lukla. We take off to our destination on a 35 min scenic mountain flight to Lukla. After a cup of tea at local Lodge in Lukla we are treading on the legendary “Everest Highway” which heads downwards through the alpine valley following the “Dudh Kosi” or milk river (named after its milky colour from glacial silt). We reach Phakding after 3hrs walk and end our first day here.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3400m) (5-6 hrs) The next day we will be walking mostly uphill through the alpine valleys. We will be crossing Dudh Kosi River a few times before we reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. On a clear day you get views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Kwangde and Taweche on the way to Namche.

Day 05: Rest and acclimatization at Namche Bazaar Acclimatization is important before proceeding to higher altitudes. This is the first acclimatization day in Namche bazaar that everyone should make into their trekking itinerary. You can explore the important sites around or relax in the lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3860 m, 5-6 hrs) Today the landscape changes dramatically. The trail is more open and wide and it reveals the great depths of the surrounding mountains. We descend to the Dudh Kosi River and stop for lunch at Phunki Tenga. From here we climb steeply through a beautiful rhododendron and birch forest for 2 hours that will take us to Tengboche. We will visit the monastery and watch the monks performing their rituals.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4300 m) Dingboche can be used as the stopover en route to Kala Pattar. The route is less windy and sunnier. More village activities can be observed around the area. We continue heading east into the Imja valley, climbing gently to reach Dingboche.

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4930m) The trail ascends a bit up to the Chorten above Dingboche and then gradually ascends to North West Khumbu valley until we reach Duglha. From Duglha the trail is steep uphill and we reach the memorial place of people who died while climbing Everest. Then the trail from this point drops a bit and follows the western side of the valley to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche

Day 09: Trek to Gorak Shep (5160m) & Climb Kalapathar (5545 m) back to Gorak Shep From Lobuche we climb to Kala Pattar on the way to Gorak Shep following the Khumbu Glacier and after exploring the place move to Gorak Shep for overnight. Kala Pattar climb is one of the finest parts of the trip. It is a steep climb of one or two hours up the grassy slopes west of Gorak Shep. We can catch the glimpses from Kala Pattar of Ama Dablam, Makalu, Nuptse, Lhotse and the black pyramid of Everest

Day 10: Morning Hike to Everest Base Camp & back to Gorak Shep &continue trek to Lobuche After an early breakfast we make an early start as it will take us hours to reach the Everest Base camp through a higher route, watching the spectacular view of the Khumbu icefall and the route to the South Col. Then we return to Lobuche for overnight stay retracing back our previous trail.

Day 11: Trek to Lobuche Peak Base Camp (5500m) After breakfast we trek to Lobuche peak base camp and set up camp for next day climbing. Lobuche Base Camp is tucked up a side valley from the EBC trekking route that leads to a high camp,

Day 12: Summit (6119m) and back to Base Camp The steeper parts of the climb to the ridge, on the summit day, are normally fixed with about 500 meters of rope. After summit you will descend to Lobuche Base Camp.

Day 13: Extra day for attempting summit in case of bad weather

Day 14: Trek to Tengboche (3964 m) We drop down to the rushing Imja Khola and then pangbuche . Overnight at teahouse

Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar From pangbuche we trek via tengbuche and we descend off the ridge and walk back to Namche Bazaar along a beautiful undulating trail high above the Dudh Koshi from where we still can see Mount Everest.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla–5/6 hrs Trek back to Lukla along the same trail, although it always looks different coming from the opposite direction on arrival in Lukla you will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek. You can have a good time with two local alcoholic beverages 'Chang' or 'Rakshi.' Feel free to dance with your crewmembers in the Sherpa way.

Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu & Transfer to hotel, relax day after a Long Trip Early morning fly to Kathmandu .Transfer to your hotel; the day at leisure to rest, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights you missed during your first day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu Note: Flights into Lukla are sometimes delayed due to weather conditions either in fog-bound Kathmandu or windy Lukla; be reassured that our staff in Lukla and in Kathmandu will be doing everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused if this happens. Your patience in the trying circumstances, which can occur, will be greatly appreciated

Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu On this pleasant day you may have a full day at leisure either relax at hotel or explore the around Thamel. Or, you may do your last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives.

Day 19: Final Departure Our airport representative will come to pick you up and transfer you to the International Airport according to your flight time

Please note that trekking and mountain climbing in everest region the lukla domestic flight is depands on wheather sometime it can be Bad weather in mountain regions can cause domestic flight delays or cancel . In case of delayed or cancel domestic flight client is responsible to bear all additional expenses including fooding and accommodation costs your personal expenses before or after trip. However Adventure 14 peaks will take responsibility all other arrangements as per the schedule and guide and other staffs extra expenses incase of delay or cancel the flight . If you wish to make an alternative arrangements such as Helicopter flight to avoid flight delays, all additional cost would be your(clients) responsibility , Adventure 14 peaks does not accept any responsibility for costs incurred as a result international flight missed but we assistance to make alternative arrangements wherever possible.we recommend always keep some extra time when you trek and climbing in Himalayas and make sure your intnernational flight ticket is flexible date ,also note that while on the Trip we may have to make sometime changes in the itinerary due to unforeseen reasons like landslide or natural disaster bad wheather or health condition
